A video posted on Facebook by a group of children celebrating their birthday has gone viral, sparking widespread praise and debate.
Happy Birthday America, which features children in colorful, colorful outfits singing happy birthday lyrics to the song “Happy Baby,” was released to coincide with the holiday and is being viewed as a sign of hope by those of the country’s growing generation.
“Happy Birthday is one of the greatest things to come out of the ’90s and 2000s,” the group wrote in the video, which is titled “Happy Birthday.”
“We want to thank you all for coming out to celebrate!
We love you all, you’re wonderful and just really mean to us!” the group said.”
We hope you enjoy it too!”
Happy Birthday has become an icon in America, and the song has been covered by pop singers including Lady Gaga, Beyoncé and Katy Perry.
“You can sing happy birthday to anyone, anytime you want, and there is nothing better than seeing our children in their happy costumes,” one parent told CNN.
The group has also released videos with other songs that have a positive message, including “Happy Homecoming” and “Happy Father’s Day.”
“Happy Homeguidance” features a child singing about the importance of a loving, supportive family.
“This is the best of America,” the child sings.
“Happy birthday, America!”
“Happy Father,” featuring a child playing the piano, also includes a child expressing gratitude.
“Thank you, Daddy, for being a father, and thank you, Mama, for making us smile,” the boy sings.
“I’m so glad I’m going to have a happy life with my mom and dad, and I hope you know that I’m proud to be your daughter and son,” he adds.
“Just a little extra encouragement, we’ve been going to these schools for six years and you’re always happy to be in our classes, too,” he says, pointing to a picture of his parents with their children.
“All the kids are smiling and happy, we’re all just so happy,” the father says.
The videos have been viewed nearly 2 million times and have been shared over 6,000 times.
One of the videos, posted in April, has garnered over 2.5 million views and has been viewed more than 200,000 time.
A spokesperson for the group told ABC News that they were not happy with the reactions to the video.
“There are some things we are not happy about.
Some of the comments are really disrespectful to the kids and our parents,” the spokesperson said.
“We are not pleased with some of the responses.
The videos were all approved and all parents who want to get involved are welcome to do so.
We also want to reiterate that these videos were made for adults, not children.
We do not condone bullying and we encourage all children to come to the school and participate in the school activities.
We would also like to reiterate to all parents that these are fun videos, and not to bully anyone.”
The video was created by the group after the parents contacted the group about their children having fun at the school, according to ABC News.
The video is a sign that children are embracing their individuality, the spokesperson added.
“The children are enjoying the school environment and the parents are having a great time,” she said.
In addition to the group, the group has launched a Facebook page titled “We’re happy, and we’re not happy.”
